Off The Wall Pullups On Isawall
Whether you’re getting into fitness or are already committed to your workouts, pullups are a great way to work the upper body. Utilizing movement at both the elbows and shoulders, pullups pull in a lot of muscles in one single exercise. Biceps, Forearms, back, and shoulder muscles are all used to overcome gravity in the up and downward motion of a pullup. At Isawall we have some great tools so that you can not only get your pullups in, but also have a great assortment of options to change up your routine.
Standard Pullups On Isawall
At Isawall we have developed a bar attached right to the wall that allows you to do your pullups. This bar can be adjusted for height quickly and easily. The width of the bar will allow you to alter your grip so you can do close or wide grip pullups.
Assisted Pullups On Isawall
One of the unique benefits of using Isawall is the ability to engage in assisted pullups. Our system allows you to use attachments designed specifically for assisted pullups, or standard resistance bands that may be used to offer support. In either case, the level of assistance can be easily altered.
If you are a beginner to pullups, using a band or assistance attachment is a great way to build your strength up over time. If you are already conditioned with respect to pullups, you will find that the assistance attachments and bands are a great way to push your muscles even harder as they hit failure. Once you’ve finished a set without assistance and can’t do anymore, utilizing the assistance bands will help you knock out a few more repetitions. The result is better strength gains and higher repetition sets.
Neutral Grip Pullups
Neutral grip pullups can be done on Isawall utilizing our dip bars. As the name implies, the dip bars allow for dips to be performed on Isawall. Additionally however, the dip bars can be used as a great means of doing neutral grip pullups. If you have never done them before, neutral grip pullups have their own benefits and work the muscles slightly differently.
The dip bars that can be used with Isawall can be adjusted in height anywhere along the wall. This will allow for both standard and modified neutral grip pullups. By inserting the dip bars high on Isawall, you can engage in pullups utilizing your full bodyweight. The assistance bands mentioned previously can also be used with the dip bars.
Modified neutral grip pullups can also be done by inserting the dip bars closer to the ground. You can then keep your feet flat on the floor. This method allows you to lift a lesser percentage of your weight. This is a great method for beginners, but advanced users of Isawall can also use this as a great means of pushing the muscles once the point of failure has been reached with unassisted neutral grip pullups.
There Are Endless Variations On Isawall
When people start using Isawall, they begin to realize the endless possibilities with different exercises. Pullups are no different. There are numerous variations that can be done for Pullups. Whether you use a weight vest, do one arm modified neutral grip pullups, or keep your legs extended out in front for some additional core-work, you’ll find that Isawall is the perfect platform to support hundreds of exercise variations.
